Imaginative Public Relations for print, television, and radio. Joseph Hanania has been a regular contributor to the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times.  He has also written for TV Guide, CBS-TV, HBO-TV, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Village Voice, Philadelphia Magazine and Los Angeles Magazine.

Hanania has a B.A. in American history from Cornell University and an M.A. in American history from the University of Pennsylvania.  His Master’s thesis traced the evolution of jazz from its birth in New Orleans’ red light district through to its popularity – along with alcohol – during Prohibition, through to its acceptance in the American mainstream.

In addition, Hanania has taught screenwriting and journalism at the New School for Social Research in New York, and at UCLA Extension.
